Telephone headsets—dual channel

A dual channel telephone headset is a headset designed to fit a variety of communication applications requiring the use of two channels.  The headsets are designed for use by people who are required to use the telephone and computer simultaneously, such as using the telephone whilst using computer speech products. One channel allows the user to transmit and receive telephone conversations whilst the other receiver works with speech products to allow the user to hear what they are typing whilst listening to the telephone conversation.

Workplace solutions and adjustments

Dual channel headsets permit people to use the telephone and assistive computer products, such as screen reading programs, at the same time.
