Magnetic lifts

Magnetic lifts are ideal for lifting and handling large metallic equipment or building products such as steel plates. Various sized magnetic lifts can be attached to lifting devices such as overhead cranes and operated by one operator, using magnetic force to hold the required objects as they are moved.

With magnetic lifts, the products to be lifted or moved do not need to be attached by clamping devices, slings or chains. They contain an internal release device, which removes the magnetism to enable release of the products in a controlled manner. Electricity is not required for operation, which eliminates the risk of products being dropped due to power loss. Magnetic lifts come in a range of sizes and shapes depending on the size, shape and weight of the product being shifted – although they are unsuitable to use with flexible or bendable objects. Magnetic lifts can be both custom made for specific industry needs or as prefabricated models.

Workplace solutions and adjustments

For individuals with difficulties lifting or handling heavy metallic equipment or products, especially in awkward postures or where task repetition is required, magnetic lifting devices may be of assistance. With magnetic lifts you can perform operations that might previously have needed two or more people.

Magnetic lifters are most commonly used in factories, docks, warehouses and transportation.
