The standard font size of numbers and symbols on telephones can be too small for people with vision impairment to read, without magnification. Large font, high contrast number stickers are available that can be stuck over the existing phone keys to enhance viewing.
Workplace solutions and adjustments
Being able to accurately view and use the numbers on a telephone is crucial in most workplaces. For people with vision impairment the font size of numbers and symbols is often hard to view on a standard phone. Depending on the level of vision, placing large font, high contrast (black on white) stickers over the existing phone buttons can assist in locating and dialling buttons, therefore ensuring correct dialling.
