Disability Modifications is a building company specialising in modifying homes and creating access solutions for the elderly and people with disability. This includes work such as wheel chair accessible bathrooms, kitchens, laundries, toilets and ramps. We work with occupational therapists to produce a suitable design and free quotation for each client.
As well as the above, we distribute the stepless showerbase which is almost flat and, together with non-slip vinyl, provides safe and easy access in the bathroom.
We also distribute and install (and now also hire) the Nexus Modular Ramp System by Australian Ramp Systems. This system comprises checker plate aluminium floor panels and powder coated handrails and supports. The ramp system is designed and installed to comply with AS 1428.1 and comes with a 10 year guarantee.
