Weeroona Association is a local charity and was originally formed as the Newcastle and District Association for Crippled Children. Weeroona endeavours to provide assistance to children and young adults with physical disabilities from 0 - 21 years.
Weeroona offers assistance by way of sharing the high costs of equipment and aids needed to support children and young adults with disabilities at home, in educational settings and in the community, including but not restricted to, prescribed surgical and medical aids, mobility aids, educational incontinence aids, transport and therapy.
All children and young adults must be registered members of Weeroona Association. Registration is free, and you can obtain a form by contacting the Association.
