Employment of People with Disability in the Australian Public Service
The Australian Government’s Management Advisory Committee released a report on the Employment of People with Disability in the Australian Public Service.
The report makes the point that providing a work environment which attracts and supports applicants with disability makes good business sense.
The report contains a series of objectives for promoting the employment of people with disability in the Australian Public Service including cultural changes, access to employment, and support for employees with disability and their managers.
The report, including details on better practice strategies, can be found on the Australian Public Service Commission web site—see Related Links.
