Independent living services focus on your ability to function independently at home and in the community if you are living with disability. They include independent living centres and independent living programs.
Independent living centres
If you have a disability, you may use aids or equipment for support as you participate in various activities, or simply to improve your quality of life.
Independent living centres are located in every state and in the Australian Capital Territory. They showcase a comprehensive range of products and equipment to assist with daily living activities.
You can try out products and equipment and select the most suitable prior to purchase. The centres do not sell items they only display them.
