How can JobAccess help employers?

With a diverse range of backgrounds and experiences, our team offers expertise across a range of specialist fields including disability and mental health, training and recruitment, workplace adjustments and occupational therapy. Most importantly, we are passionate about what we do, and want to help more Australian employers reap the rewards of an inclusive workplace.

We coordinate and fund workplace adjustments, support and training to get your workplace ready and help an employee with disability work more productively or safely. Not all employees with disability will require adjustments, but if they do, JobAccess can help manage the process from start to finish, including arranging a free workplace assessment.

Available support provides information to help you access Australian Government financial support for your employees with disability, tools and resources, developing strategies and plans, connecting with the disability employment sector, creating a flexible work environment and recruiting and retaining people with a disability.

Your rights and responsibilities is a summary of the rights and responsibilities you need to consider as an employer for your employees with disability.

Employer Toolkit is your one stop shop for all matters relating to disability employment. Through short video lessons and downloadable resources, you'll be empowered to hire people with disability and understand the necessary steps you need to take.

Intermediary Toolkit is a package of resources to help organisations that work with small to medium enterprises to promote the benefits of inclusive and open employment.

The videos showcase people with disability and their stories through talking about their employment arrangements, flexibility in the workplace, support they have received in the workplace and being comfortable about disclosing their disability.

Downloads section is where you will find information sheets about JobAccess and its support services and posters that you can print for your workplace.

Disability Types – Information about medical conditions or disability types is available on the Health Direct website which details a range of conditions and links to further support services, state government and health care sites.
