New Disability Discrimination Commissioner announced

Alastair McEwin is the new Disability Discrimination Commissioner for the Australian Human Rights Commission, effective as of July 2016.

Mr McEwin is the chairman of the Disability Council of NSW and is the President of the Deaf Society. He is also profoundly deaf.
