Employing people with disability doesn't need to be complicated.

In this video, Karla, National Manager of the National Disability Recruitment Coordinator (NDRC) service, explains how JobAccess helps employers build inclusive workplaces and recruit people with disability with confidence.

The NDRC works alongside employers to identify and remove barriers to disability employment, providing practical advice, guidance and support through a tailored partnership approach.

The NDRC is delivered through JobAccess, the national hub for workplace and employment information for people with disability, employers and service providers.

Don't let fear be a barrier.
You don't need everything in place.
We can hold your hand, start with a vacancy and we can take it from there.
I'm Karla.
I'm the Manager of the National Disability Recruitment Coordinator, the employer engagement team at JobAccess.
I love talking about what we do at JobAccess.
We're a small but mighty team of professionals who have both professional and lived experience that can help employers remove systemic, operational and attitudinal barriers to disability employment to achieve employment goals.
The NDRC supports employers to build inclusive workplaces.
We do this over a 12-month partnership and then we maintain relationships with alumni.
A really common misconception is absenteeism.
A lot of employers in particular think people take more time off due to disability.
However, our studies do prove that over 86% of people with disability have superior attendance rates.
One of the beautiful things that works with our team is that you may have one key contact with your partnership, but you get this mega brain behind, of all of our different experiences.
We're always updating and releasing new resources and short, quick tips to keep employers engaged.
There's no problem that we're not keen to tackle.
