Free Service We offer a free recruitment, training and support service. Our Organization is fully funded by the Department of Education, Employment and Workplace Relations, which means there are no commissions, no membership fees and no sign up costs. Workplace Modifications As with many of us, we like certain things that make doing our day to day job easier. Should workplace modifications or adaptive equipment be required, Connect2Employment will cover the cost of this. Tailored Services Having an employer who trusts that they can call us when they need staff is our biggest compliment. By getting to know your business we find the right employee for the job. Our qualified training staff will coach the employee in the way you conduct your business and offer ongoing support and maintain regular contact, to ensure everyone's needs are being met. Employer Support Connect2Employment will assess your workplace and search out suitable candidates. Work experience can be arranged to ensure a perfect fit for both you and the prospective employee. A free service and 100% satisfaction. If you are not happy with any condition of the arrangement, we will fix it for you. Our performance

Connect2Employment have been successful in the latest DES/ESS Tender, having been awarded the only Intellectual and Learning Disability Specialist business in SEQ. Having operated since 1993, we have highly skilled and trained staff who specialize in assisting clients in this cohort to gain and maintain meaningful employment. Working closely with the Indigenous jobseekers on the Bay Islands Connect2Group have successfully assisted numerous job seekers to gain meaningful employment, and have forged strong ties with the Islands and their businessess. Connect2Group currently supports 37% of the current participants with ID or Learning disability in South Brisbane ESA. Having operated a School to Work Transition program since 1996 we currently have 54 registrants with Intellectual or Learning disabilities. Of these, 33 are currently employed for an average of 138 weeks, and 19 have been employed for more than 12 months. Connect2Group will continue to use this model of support to increase participant numbers and outcomes for SB ESA. 62% of participants with Intellectual or learning disabilities have accessed our Service via direct registration.

About us

Connect2Group is a not-for-profit organization providing whole of life (work, home and play) community connectedness and development of people with disabilities. Because we are not-for-profit we use all our funds to support people with disability. Our Organization has been assisting people with a disability since 1993, and overall, our staff retention is high, with long tenure. Conenct2Employment has been awarded the Intellectual and Learning Disability Specialist Tender in SEQ, and have experience in placing this cohort of clients into long term sustainable and meaningful jobs. We have Memorandums of Understanding with Qld Health to provide employment specialists co located within the Mental Health Teams to provide tailored support to job seekers with a psychiatric illness. These teams include: Redlands and Wynnum Hospitals, Goodna Mental Health, PA Hospital, Inala Mental Health, Ipswich Mental Health, and West Moreton Centre for Mental Health. We have Memorandums of Understandings with local schools to provide students support to access work experience placements so they can sample different job roles. We employ Indigenous Liaison Officers to ensure we provide appropriate support to our Indigenous participants. Our staff are highly skilled and trained in a wide variety of discliplines, and come from diverse backgrounds, to ensure we can appropriately assist people from different cultures and who have specific needs.
