Our networks

Workskills has an established history of working with multiple community organisations and stakeholders to support people with a disability to achieve education, employment and social outcomes. We have established relationships with the local TAFE's and other registered training providers. We routinely liaise with the TAFE Disability Consultants and Careers Advisors to ensure our jobseekers receive the support they need to complete their chosen course.

We have strong relationships with an array of community agencies that represent disadvantaged groups with a particular focus on mental health and indigenous services. Direct liaison and referrals to health professionals ensures that our jobseekers get the best assistance to help them achieve their vocational goals. We work closely with centrelink and support jobseekers to attend Assessments and Appointments in person or over the phone to achieve the best result.

To ensure we understand the needs of our local employers and to increase awareness of our service, Workskills Consultants are constantly out and about speaking to local business owners about their needs and negotiating job opportunities for their job seekers.
