Our performance
Since 1992, WISE Employment has assisted thousands of job seekers and employers. Each year, our passionate and skilled staff guide close to 10,000 people into jobs.
Over the last three years, we have assisted over 17,000 employers with finding the right staff. We have helped hundreds of job seekers pursue education, training and life skills, and have provided staff training to several employers.
Between July 2011 and April 2014, we’ve assisted 18,825 job seekers from culturally and linguistically diverse (CALD) backgrounds, 3,002 Indigenous job seekers, 13,360 mature-age job seekers, 779 redundant workers, 3,415 refugees, and 257 school leavers. Each year, we support hundreds of people with mental illness into employment.
WISE Employment is one of the biggest providers of employment assistance to people with a disability in Australia.
Achieving successful employment outcomes depends on matching job seeker skills and abilities with employer needs. As testament to employer trust and confidence in WISE to match and coach job seekers aligned with employers’ recruitment needs, 22% of our employers provide repeat vacancies, a high percentage of placements being in permanent positions.
We value job seeker and employer feedback as indicator of performance:
“I have a new attitude; now I know where I’m going and what I want. I feel proud that I get up every day and go to work to do something that I love.” - Angela, job seeker
“WISE always understands what we need. They give us the right people. Some of the staff have been working here for five years, ten years, so the success has been stable.” - Lily, employer
