Our job seekers

BIZLINK is a West Australian not-for-profit Disability Employment Service. We provide generalist Employment Support Services from our offices in Joondalup, Clarkson, Innaloo, Morley, Midland, East Perth, Melville, Cockburn and Rockingham. We assist people with all types of disabilities, barriers and backgrounds. We have been dedicated to Employment Support Services since 1992.

QUALITY EMPLOYMENT & INDIVIDUALISED SUPPORT

BIZLINK works with you to match jobs to your choice, skills and individual needs. We provide on or off-site training, support and advice to help you settle in to the job. We provide job-support for as long as you need it. If you are not yet ready for a job we can assist you with building your work-based skills and career counselling. If you need more specialist assistance because of your disability or other barrier to employment, we can provide supports or link you to the right services to get you work ready.

A Coordinator will work with you to develop your Job Plan and then build strategies to meet your employment goals, you will be supported with every part of your plan, how and when you need it. Depending on your individual needs, BIZLINK support can include:

  • Learning about what employers expect, interview techniques, building confidence
  • Accessing training & courses agreed on your Job Plan
  • Building your wellness & work readiness

CO-WORKER TRAINING

Co-worker training can be provided for employers to improve engagement and inclusion of people with a disability in their workplace. BIZLINK provides Co-worker training to meet the needs of employers. Training is flexible and can be provided on or off-site as required and can be tailored for a group or provided individually.

RECOGNISING INCLUSIVE EMPLOYERS

The BIZLINK Employer of the Year Award has been presented to the employer that has demonstrated outstanding support of open employment access for people with disabilities since 2000. The categories for consideration for the award are:

SCHOOL TO WORK TRANSITION BIZLINK has been partnering with schools to assist students to transition from school to paid employment since we began in 1992. Our local experience and success are a key point of difference from other providers.

CAPACITY BUILDING BIZLINK employs professional staff that can assist with career counselling or disability or barrier specific concerns.
