Community Bridging Services (CBS) Inc. assists people with a disability, injury or illness to find and maintain open employment, providing long term ongoing support based on individual needs.

We provide person-centred employment assistance focusing on the strengths and interests of the individual to assist in the transition to long term sustainable employment through:

• Pre-employment training, vocational assessment and career planning
• Work Ready Program and Job Club
• Individual Job Search assistance
• On the job support and training
• Assistance with obtaining employment related licencing
• Work related clothing and presentation assistance,
• Arranging work place assessments  and modifications
• Access to registered psychologists

Our programs are located across South Australia, with a number of offices servicing the metropolitan Adelaide and rural regions.

Our networks

Community Bridging Services (CBS) Inc. has networks and formal arrangements with employers, training providers and community organisations throughout the state. This allows CBS Inc. to provide the highest quality of service to our Participants in assisting them find sustainable employment and training options. CBS Inc. also provides holistic services to our Participants to overcome any barriers to employment they are currently facing or any issues within the workplace.

Our performance

Our Performance CBS is the largest provider of Disability Employment Services (DES-DMS and DES-ESS) in South Australia. We currently provide specialised employment services in Eastern Adelaide, Northern Adelaide, Southern Adelaide, Western Adelaide, Murraylands, North Country, Port Lincoln/Ceduna, Port Pirie, Riverland. Our performance is compounded by our client centred approach and point of difference in regards to case management and client servicing. We provide clients with a tailored service to suit their individual needs and ensure that employment placements are sustainable and fulfilling for the jobseeker. Our performance from the March 2012 star ratings was: ESS: Eastern Adelaide 4 Kadina/Clare 3 Murraylands 3 North Country 3 Northern Adelaide 3 Port Lincoln/Ceduna 3 Port Pirie 3 Riverland 3 Southern Adelaide 3 and Western Adelaide 4. DMS: Murraylands 5 North Country 5 Northern Adelaide 3 Port Lincoln/Ceduna 5 Port Pirie 4 Riverland 4 Southern Adelaide 3 and Alice Springs 3. JSA: North Country 3 and Port Lincoln/Ceduna 3.
