CASTLE works with employers who can see beyond the disability and care about building a more inclusive community.  Our employer partners understand hiring people with disability makes good business sense. They realise benefits from our dedicated, specialist staff who take the time to understand your needs and your business to find people who are the right fit. We don’t measure success by filling a job – our goal is long term employment retention and a productive worker. What makes CASTLE stand out is our extensive in-work support - for as long as you and your new employee needs – maximising successful employment retention.

We recognise the commitment and costs associated with hiring new employee, especially for small and medium businesses. We  see the value of placing the right person with you the first time – to save your time and money. We ensure your new employee is ready to start on day one, with transport organised, uniforms ready to wear, and any tools of the trade  they need. We can also facilitate wage subsidies, Workplace Modifications and assistive technology if required, sourced and paid for by the federal government, to support your new employee to do their job to the best of their ability and to make your workplace more accessible. Our networks

CASTLE is your LOCAL  provider, formed in the Newcastle, Hunter and Central Coast regions by members of the local community to help disadvantaged members of the community. Our teams, from our board of directors and executive leadership, to frontline staff, have long established connections to the region and understand the people that live here, local services and labour market better than other providers. Being established and connected locally for almost 30 years means we understand the issues that matter in our local communities and actively work to address these - it is part of our identity to find and solve problems for people whose voice is not always heard. We understand the importance of working collaboratively to address all your needs and where to go for help.

CASTLE believe in building more inclusive communities and that is the focal point of all our community interactions. We have existing relationships with major local employers, local government and allied health services. An example of this is a community initiative CASTLE are spearheading with local business leaders to promote and put disability and inclusion on the agenda of every business.

Our performance

CASTLE care about placing local people into local jobs. We are proud to have placed more local people living with injury, illness or disability into local jobs than any other provider and we have been doing it for almost three decades. Between January 2017 and December 2018, we placed over 1500 local people into local jobs. We have tremendous pride in the role we have played, and continue to play, in our local communities. What’s more, we have a great track record of finding the right job, which means jobs that last. These results highlight the success of our person centered approach and focus on you living your best life so you can make your dreams a reality.
