The first step in your chosen path is meeting with your friendly local HELP staff; familiarising yourself with our free services; WI-FI, computers, photocopiers, printers, jobs boards, in-house training & specialist services. You & your Coach will work to develop your unique job plan & identify the strategies & interventions needed to get you into employment efficiently & effectively.

You & your Coach will determine what needs to happen before you begin to seek out employment. We discuss resumes, cover letters, training, & skill areas; determine any social or personal barriers that may need to be worked through before employment & access internal & external supports to help you address these barriers before moving forward.

The next path in your journey is getting the job! You will have access to our specialist staff & support services to identify, apply & succeed in your next job. You will also have access to vacancies that are exclusively managed by our team: connecting respected local employers with the best local candidates.

Our performance

HELP operate across 8 Employment Services Areas (ESA’s) with 44 offices covering all of South East Queensland. Working with key national, state and local employers in each region to provide the best opportunities to our job seekers; we have continually met federal government standards for performance.

HELP is committed to continuing to provide industry leading, responsive and individualised services to all of our jobseekers; which in the last year numbered over 10,000 people in South East QLD.

HELP Employment & Training is a division of HELP Enterprises Limited – a not-for-profit social enterprise that for over 50 years, has dedicated itself to supporting and enhancing the lifestyles of people living with disability and disadvantage. HELP continues to support this initiative through our Disability Employment Services, jobactive Employment Services, HELP Training Institute (RTO 1653), Allied Health Services, Disability Housing, Horse Riding School for the Disabled, Australian Disability Enterprises and Supply Chain, Manufacturing, Catering and horticulture businesses – allowing for ongoing lifestyle enhancement through employment.
