Our office is conveniently located in the heart of Campbelltown, close to rail, bus and shopping. It has good cafés and is close to the cinema. NOVA Campbelltown services all the areas between Minto, Appin and Narellan.
Job seekers say we create a happy and comfortable place to meet and learn, where they’re encouraged to reach for their dreams. Our staff are always there for you.
Every week we place people with all sorts of barriers into work that they enjoy. This is because we provide personalised in-house training and are always on the lookout for ways to encourage and support our job seekers to set and reach their goals.
Please read Steven’s story and how NOVA helped him find the job of his dreams:
Steven completed NOVA's Transition program (a two-year program that prepares school leavers with a disability for work.) With an ID and Asperger’s, he can be quite anxious and verbally disruptive. NOVA staff discovered that he was unsettled because he desperately wanted to work! He wanted to be just like everyone else: getting up every day to earn money.
NOVA Campbelltown placed Steven with local restaurant Panarottis, initially as a kitchen hand. He required full-time support to assist him to understand and comply with instructions. Through showing him the tools to become reliable and productive, Steven became a diligent worker. His boss was so impressed that he offered Steven the position of Apprentice Chef. Steven will require workplace support for a long time; however, NOVA and TAFE’s disability support unit work together to provide this.
