Job Centre Australia specialises in empowering people with a disability, illness or health condition to improve their circumstances through a range of training, support and employment opportunities under the DES (Disability Employment Service) and NDIS (National Disability Insurance Scheme) framework. We help you to prepare for, find and maintain employment. We tailor our approach to each individual, assisting with career choice guidance, pathways to education, in-house workshops, writing resumes, applying for jobs, traineeships/ apprenticeships, workplace assessments, transitioning into work, training and ongoing support in the workplace.
What you can expect from us: Pathway Coaches will create a career path that is individualised to suit your needs and can assist with: · Addressing barriers · Resumes · Cover letters · Job applications · Interview clothing and uniforms · Accessing further education · Marketing. The Pathway Coach will access the services of a marketer who will work toward placing you into sustainable employment. From there, trainers will provide on the job training (where required) and ongoing support and work with you side by side to ensure a smooth transition into employment. The trainers will identify any issues that you may have and can act as a mediator between you and your employer. Facilities: Our offices are equipped with a HIVE area for intensive job searching, training rooms, internet facilities and professional friendly staff.
